After the 104 Keys version, now it’s time for the TKL version with the ROG Strix Scope RX TKL Wireless Deluxe… A long name that hides in fact a model with opto-mechanical switches signed Asus.
Strix Scope RX TKL Wireless: opto-mechanical switches on the program!
With this keyboard, Asus offers us a compact keyboard in TKL format, without numeric keypad. Of course, this makes it more compact than the full-size versions and it frees up space for more extensive mouse movements. Otherwise, we still find the soft wrist rest with its PU coating as well as the aluminum layer plate.
The characteristics of this model are finally quite similar to the 104 key version. Indeed, we still find a polling rate at 1000 Hz and the N-Key Rollover. The same is true for the integrated memory allowing the storage of several profiles.
However, it is distinguished by the presence of red and blue opto-mechanical RX switches (linear and clicky). The latter offer a lifetime of 100 million activations and a flawless responsiveness.
In addition, we still have an integrated battery offering an autonomy of 76 hours with RGB lighting. If the autonomy improves, it is because we have fewer keys to illuminate simply. Otherwise, we find a wired connectivity, via Bluetooth or RF 2.4 GHz.
Again, no price, but a launch date in May.
This way to the Asus datasheet!
