Jonsbo announces a new cooler with its HX4170D, a heatsink that announces itself as being ultra compact. In broad outline, it measures less than 5 cm in height and benefits from a slim fan in 92 mm!
HX4170D: less than 5 cm high!
The brand announces a new ultra-compact heatsink that will be available in black and white. This last one displays dimensions frankly contained with 95 (W) x 95 (D) x 45,3 (H) mm. This height is achievable thanks to the use of a 92 mm fan with a thickness of only 12.5 mm!
The radiator itself has a rather muscular configuration considering its size. Indeed, it embeds no less than four copper heat pipes of 6 mm each. Moreover, they are joined at the level of a real nickel-plated copper base.
As for the fan, it benefits from a PWM type power supply and will operate from 600 RPM to 3000 RPM. At full speed, the airflow is 38.85 CFM and the static pressure reaches 2.71 mmH2O.
On the installation side, unlike the Noctua NH-L9, this model is multi-socket. It can therefore be installed on LGA-1000 and AM4 platforms. Of course, you should not be too greedy when it comes to choosing the CPU.
Unfortunately, the selling price is not yet known.
