New keyboard at Corsair which announces a new version of its K70. This time, we welcome the K70 RGB Pro, a model that follows the trend initiated by the K65 RGB Mini and the K70 TKL : it benefits from PBT keys.
K70 RGB Pro: a 104-key keyboard with PBT!
The American brand offers us a new version of its keyboard. This time, it is the 104-key version that is updated. This new model now has a complete keyset in PBT, a material that is particularly appreciated in the field of keyboards. However, that’s not all as the wrist rest is also magnetic. The same goes for the USB Type C cable, which is also detachable.
For the rest, Corsair opts for switches from Cherry. We will have the choice between MX Red (linear), MX Speed (linear, but more responsive) and MX Brown (touch). Otherwise, this reference benefits from a polling rate at 8000 Hz, like its counterpart TKL. The same goes for the antighosting and the N-Key rollover.
Of course, we can count on the support of iCUE for the management and creation of profiles. Moreover, this keyboard has 8 MB of memory and can save up to 50 profiles, depending on their size, which will vary depending on the number of macros and RGB lighting. The brand mentions that it will be possible to superimpose up to 20 layers of lighting.
For the price, no surprises since it is close to 200 € with its 189.90 €. At the same time, the K70 is a high-end model!
