This model is the result of a collaboration between EKWB and XFX. Thus, the card displays its custom waterblock type full cover. It will cool the GPU, the memory and the power supply stages of the card. However, EKWB has concocted a block with the effigy of its partner as we can see above.
Otherwise, we find a GPU with a custom PCB with no less than 14+2 power phases. This combination (VRM + waterblock) allows the brand to overclock its factory card with a boost reaching 2525 MHz. Especially since the overclocking margin has been increased: up to 4000 MHz (via software).
Now we finish with the price. Thus, the card is displayed at $1799.99 on the site Newegg with a 3 years manufacturer warranty. No, it’s clearly not cheap.
