A new screen signed LG is out with the UltraGear 34GP950G. It is again a high-end reference with the price that goes with it. However, what does it have in the belly to be proposed at $1300?

With this new model, the brand opts for a 21/9 screen with a resolution of 3440 x 1440. Equipped with a fast IPS slab, this monitor offers excellent responsiveness. We find a refresh rate of 180 Hz and a latency of 1 ms gray to gray. The screen is also compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate technology.
With this, we find a monitor with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 while covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. With this, we have a Vesa DisplayHDR 600 certification thanks to a local backlight distributed via 56 zones. Finally, regarding the viewing angles, 178° horizontal / vertical.
At the back, the screen offers a small circular RGB lighting at the mounting system with the foot. Moreover, the foot will allow an adjustment in a little all the directions. On the connectivity side, we have the right to HDMI, DisplayPort, a USB hub and a jack for the audio part.
For the price, as we said, it will cost about $1300, yes, it stings.
