This morning, we learn that the Alphacool brand is attacking Zotac cards and more particularly the RTX 3070 Ti AMP Holo. This model in question receives a full cover waterblock from the German brand. It is a block belonging to the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-N series.
3070 Ti AMP Holo: an Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-N for the Zotac card!
With this new block, the German brand announces a product measuring 164.58 (W) x 127.1 (D) x 33.65 (H) mm. Considering the size of the PCB of the card, we can say that it is a full cover type block. It will therefore cover the entire PCB of the board on which it goes.
For the rest, no change in the objectives of this type of product. Indeed, the role of a waterblock remains to actively cool the critical parts of a card. Thus, the memory chips, the power supply stages and the GPU will be directly cooled. Similarly, for the GPU part, Alphacool uses a network of copper fins of 0.6 mm thick.
Otherwise, we find a block offering a nickel-plated copper base with an acrylic top part. Of course, an RGB lighting is present to “sublimate” your installation.
Finally, you should know that this model is not only for the 3070 Ti AMP Holo, but also for the Trinity OC and Trinity (non OC) models.
Finally, for the price, it will cost about 140 € on the site of the brand. Note that at this price, an aluminum backplate is provided.
