At Gamescom 2026, ZOTAC unveiled the Magnus One Ultra, a complete system featuring a desktop-class NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. This model pairs with a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor and stands out for its compact 11.46-liter form factor. The company also unveiled the first Magnus equipped with an AMD processor and an anniversary edition of the graphics card.
A Form Factor Optimized for Performance
The Magnus One Ultra represents a significant increase in size compared to previous models. While the height and width remain unchanged at 126 and 249 mm, the length has been extended to 365.5 mm to accommodate the desktop graphics card. ZOTAC classifies this PC as the world’s smallest system equipped with a desktop GeForce RTX 5080. The additional space is primarily dedicated to thermal management for the graphics card, which draws 360 W of power, as well as to improving CPU cooling.
Thanks to this configuration, the manufacturer was able to install an additional aluminum cooling block, equipped with its own radial fan and extra heat pipes. This physical separation between the graphics card and the processor allows for more efficient thermal management. The system uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor capable of reaching a clock speed of 5.3 GHz. RAM is managed via two slots supporting up to 96 GB of DDR5, with compatibility for 6,400 MHz CSODIMM modules or 5,600 MHz SO-DIMM modules.
Storage is provided by two M.2 slots, one of which is PCIe 5.0 x4 and the other PCIe 4.0 x4. The built-in power supply delivers 850 W, while connectivity options include Thunderbolt 4, two network ports (1 and 5 Gbps), Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. The graphics card features three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI port. The version shown is a barebone system, requiring the manual installation of RAM and an SSD, although a pre-installed Windows configuration is available with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.
AMD Alternative and Anniversary Edition
As a more compact alternative, ZOTAC has introduced the Magnus One ER98N5070C, the first in the lineup to adopt an AMD platform. This 8.48-liter model combines a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9850HX processor with an RTX 5070-class desktop graphics card featuring 12 GB of GDDR7. It also features 96 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, but with a 500 W power supply.
In addition, ZOTAC highlighted its GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID CORE OC 20th Anniversary Edition, announced at Computex 2026. This card uses the GB203 GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores, 16 GB of GDDR7 on a 256-bit bus, and an official boost clock of 2,640 MHz. It incorporates IceStorm 3.0 technology, a vapor chamber, and three BladeLink fans in a 2.5-slot configuration. It features a titanium finish, a magnetic backplate, and ARGB support.
Global production of this anniversary edition is limited to 2,000 units. In Germany, 200 units will be sold exclusively at Alternate for 1,649 euros.
