New AMD driver for this beginning of April with the RADEON Software 23.4.1 WHQL. This new version is aimed at Meet Your Maker via a new support. The same for The Last of Us Part 1 with some optimizations… Probably the same as the 22.40.43.05 published in without a fuss.

RADEON Software 23.4.1, what’s new :

Meet Your Maker - RADEON Software 23.4.1

Among the new features, we find mainly support for the game Meet Your Maker. Then, the AMD team focuses on The Last of Us Part 1 by integrating optimizations. It remains to be seen what this includes in relation to the latest driver published by the company.

With this, we also have the right to a few fixes that are as follows:

  • Fixed the blurring of videos played on browsers that take advantage of hardware acceleration. This happens when upgrading some RADEON products like the RX 7900 XT.
  • The mouse cursor is no longer invisible on Citrix Workspace!
  • The performance overlay will no longer intermittently disappear when playing full-screen videos on Steam.

Still, a few issues already identified:

  • Situational high idle power consumption can be observed with RX 7000 series with high resolution displays or with high display frequencies.
  • Stuttering or performance drops can be observed in game playback of video content on certain display configurations with RX 7000s.
  • Substandard performance may be observed on games or VR applications.
  • Brief corruptions may occur when switching between video and games on some AMD products like the RX 6700 XT.
  • Visual corruptions on water can be seen on Hogwarts Legacy with some AMD products like the RX 580.
  • Visual corruptions on water (square shapes) can be seen on Red Dead Redemption 2.
