Thermaltake has been quite prolific lately, as the company has been announcing all the products it showcased at Computex. Earlier this morning, we saw the Dockpower FI power supplies, preceded by the ST360 Ultra ARGB AIOs. This time, it’s the turn of some new fans to be unveiled. The brand is announcing its SwaFan 120 Ex Infinity Wood Edition.

These fans feature wooden accents on the frame, particularly at the four corners and along the edges. They also retain RGB lighting with an infinite depth effect, both on the hub and the side panels.
True to SwaFan tradition, Thermaltake includes a second set of fan blades with these fans. These blades feature an inverted profile to hide the blades when mounted at the bottom of a PC case, for example. This also greatly simplifies cleaning, since you simply need to remove the blades to access every nook and cranny of the fan.
The fans connect via a MagForce 2.0 connector, which combines wider contacts with a pogo pin system to ensure a reliable connection. Finally, a magnetic system holds everything together.
Specifications:
In terms of specifications, these fans operate at speeds ranging from 500 to 2,000 RPM. As for airflow and static pressure, these depend on the blade set installed:
- Standard blades:
- Airflow: up to 58.13 CFM
- Reverse blades:
- Airflow: up to 56.15 CFM
Unfortunately, Thermaltake does not specify the static pressure of its fans—which is a shame, as we would have liked to know it.
No price yet:
At this time, the retail price is still unknown. However, we expect it to be at least equivalent to that of the SwaFan 120 EX Infinity, the “base” models without the wooden accents. It’s worth noting that these are currently available for around 90 €, which gives you an idea of the price range.
