AMD graphics card aficionados will be able to enjoy all-white graphics cards with Sapphire’s Pure series. As a reminder, with this range, the brand offers references offering fans, a shell as well as a backplate in this colour. Via a teaser shared by the brand, we learn that this range will be renewed and that the company will be offering an RX 9070 XT Pure!
Sapphire teases its RX 9070 XT Pure!
This image shows a set of two cards with a white design, all equipped with large ventilation systems. In fact, these two models feature a three-fan heatsink and are, to say the least, quite thick, as you can see from the edges of the cards.
Clearly, what Sapphire is showing us is its Pure series, a series that began with AMD’s RX 7000. The distinctive feature of this range is its white design. The casing, fans and backplate are all white. However, unlike the Galax HOF series, the PCB remains black.
From what we can see, this Pure range appears to be based on the casing of the Pulse models, a teaser of which was released by Galax earlier this year.
In short, the Pure and Pulse series represent two of the brand’s three historic ranges. All that remains is to see what the Nitro series will produce, a more upmarket range with imposing and particularly efficient heatsinks.
Some people might talk about the Toxic cards, the last examples of which date back to the RX 6000, but we can’t imagine Sapphire offering such cards based on the RX 9000. In fact, this series is aimed at high performance and overclockers with a more sophisticated PCB and cooling system. There is also talks of a more permissive power consumption limit on these models.
