AMD has just announced a lot of things, including the upcoming arrival of Ryzen 7000X3D. Obviously, the main idea for these processors is to take the lead on the issue of performance compared to Intel. During its conference at CES 2023, AMD showed that its top of the range Ryzen 9 7950X3D would easily dispose of its competitor Intel Core i9-13900K in games.

As you may know, AMD has given its new Ryzen’s a boost in performance by adding 3D V-Cache to some of its Zen 4 series, so the Ryzen 9 7950X3D will have no less than 144MB of cache. For its performance comparisons, AMD showed that the Ryzen 9 7950X3D can beat the i9-13900K in a series of games running at FHD resolution (1920 x 1080) with a high image quality preset. Its little brother, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D would offer him on average, a performance gain of 15% over the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and up to 30% higher performance in some titles.

Obviously, we’ll have to check all these figures in the real world (and especially in our workshop). Finally, we are also waiting for the prices because if the performances are confirmed, how will AMD position this range? More expensive CPUs than Intel because they perform better or a complete repositioning of the Ryzen 7000 range with drops on the other versions?
