We’ve been waiting for news about the Ryzen 7000X3D since the official announcement at CES and well here are the confirmations. AMD has just revealed not only the prices but also the release dates in a video. Yes there will be a partial launch since the “big” CPUs (7950X3D & 7900X3D) will arrive at the end of February but we will have to wait until April 6th to get our hands on the less expensive versions.

In detail, the first Ryzen 7000 processors equipped with V-Cache will be the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D. The officially announced retail price will be US$699 and US$599 respectively. Later, on April 6, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D will go on sale for 449 US$. If we are to refer to the launch prices of the classic Ryzen 7000 line, the 7950X3D comes at the same price as the Ryzen 9 7950X launched a few months ago. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D would cost $50 more than its predecessor. We are also in the same position for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Let’s keep in mind however that for many weeks now, Ryzen 7000s have been the subject of multiple promotions. There is no doubt that these promotions will continue.

As with the 5800X3D launched on the tip of the toes but which continues to live a certain hour of glory, AMD targets gamers with these Ryzen 7000 X3D. Indeed, the complex and heavy nature of video games very often allows a processor “boosted” by an L3 cache to take over.
