Direction Galax, one of whose long-announced graphics cards has just seen photos published online. The latter boasts a very special feature: a mirror-finish backplate. A distinctive visual element in a market saturated by aluminum backplates with simple markings featuring GeForce RTX logos or those of the manufacturer itself.

RTX 5070 Luna: a photo of the card with its mirrored backplate!

A white card with a rear-mounted mirror!

This graphics card features a gray and white fairing. The overall design is rounded, with a central band that partially reproduces the shape of the HOF logo, or at least the nine branches of the crown where they are truncated between two fans in the case of this version.

We also learn that the fairing is held in place by a system of magnets, making it easy to remove. This greatly simplifies cleaning, while preserving the user’s warranty. Although there is some debate as to whether or not you can disassemble your graphics card without blowing your warranty, it’s best not to get involved if you don’t know what you’re doing. This will prevent you from inadvertently killing your card.

As for the backplate, it benefits from a mirror finish, a clever way to take advantage of enhanced RGB lighting effects, for example.

Finally, the photos show the board ‘s bare PCB. This shows a total of 10+3 power supply phases.

A board for the Chinese market :

For the moment, we know that this RTX 5070 Luna is destined for the Chinese market, at least for the time being. It remains to be seen whether the brand is planning an excursion to America or Europe via KFA2. In the meantime, this is a very attractive card!
