This month, NVIDIA stated that the company was striving to produce all the graphics cards in its catalog. However, with memory chip quantities limited, the question of proportions inevitably arises. According to a post on Board Channels, the company will apparently focus more on the RTX 5060 (Ti) 8 GB and the RTX 5070.

RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 (Ti) 8 GB: 75% of the supply volume of the Green’s cards!

NVIDIA RTX 5070 Founders Edition

If we are to believe what is being said, it would appear that the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB represents the core of Nvidia’s supply for the first quarter. Next, we have the RTX 5060 8 GB, complemented by the RTX 5070, a mid-range card equipped with 12 GB of VRAM. Other models such as the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 will have to share the remaining 25% of shipments.

If this leak is confirmed, we can expect to see the gradual disappearance of the models mentioned above. Stocks are likely to be replenished in small batches, and prices are not about to stop rising. Already, the 5060 Ti 16 GB is selling at high prices: between $780 and $960! Currently, these are more or less the same prices as for the non-Ti 5070.

Unfortunately, by doing so, the Green team would not be offering a large card with a large amount of memory. As we mentioned here, 8 GB of VRAM on the RTX 5060 (Ti) penalizes performance, especially in modern games. You’ll have to aim for the RTX 5070 to hope for decent performance. But at what price?

For now, these appear to be the plans for the first three months of 2026. We will continue to monitor developments in this sector. Given the difficult period we are currently experiencing, it is not impossible that partners or NVIDIA itself will quickly readjust their strategy in response to future challenges or improvements.
