A new world record in overclocking is set by Splave. The American overclocker has set a new world record on 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme. This record was achieved with a single graphics card, the Holy Grail, the Asus RTX 4090 Matrix. In fact, it was this model that was clocking in at 4 GHz not so long ago.

RTX 4090 Matrix Splave = a world record on Fire Strike!

RTX 4090 Matrix record Fire StrikeTo break this record, the clocker is equipped with its famous 4090 Matrix, while the CPU is a Core i9 13900KF. All this is housed in a Z690 Aqua OC from ASRock, with DDR5 RAM from G.Skill.

Of course, the CPU is overclocked and runs at 7554.9 MHz on all cores. The graphics card was running at 3885 MHz, with VRAM overclocked to 1563 MHz (25 Gbps), compared with 1313 MHz (21 Gbps) for the reference card. Memory bandwidth is therefore up: 1.2 TB/s versus 1.008 TB/s for the 4090 ref.

Couple all this with extreme liquid nitrogen cooling and you’ve got a big score. Fire Strike scores a handsome 56,489 pts overall, with a 58,589 pts graphics score! In short, a big GG to Splave, who continues to delight us with his prowess!
