It’s been a while since AMD launched a new driver for its RX 6000 and older graphics cards. However, don’t panic, the company is aware of this and a new driver should arrive in the next few weeks!
RX 6000 Series, don’t panic a new driver is coming!
Since the launch of its new RX 7000 last November, AMD has not released a new driver for its older series of graphics cards. This was clearly seen when looking at the RADEON Software changelogs 23.1.1 and 23.1.2 that these drivers were focused on the new cards.
So what happened? Well, following the launch of its new cards, the brand assigned as many engineers as possible to produce drivers for these RDNA3 products. This shift clearly left the older products behind, contributing to the current situation.
We're working on new @amdradeon drivers for 6000 series and prior gen cards. Aiming to release them within the next 2 weeks. Will provide another update if we run into any delays and as we get closer to posting them. Thank you for your patience

However, don’t panic as the company is aware of the situation and will release a driver for its older products in the next couple of weeks. And this is Frank Azor chief Architect of Gaming and Marketing Solutions, who says so on his Twitter account. Moreover, he indicates that in case of delay, users will be warned.
Nevertheless, users of older series of AMD cards will have to wait a little longer before seeing a driver. Now that the RX 7000’s teething problems have been corrected, we shouldn’t have to wait so long between releases.
