On the Noctua front, we’ve had a lot of news recently. First of all, the NH-D15 G2 is finally here, as are the new 140 mm fans, the NF-A14x25r G2. Just recently, the square version of these fans was released. So, when will the black model be released? Soon enough, if we are to believe the brand’s new roadmap.
Noctua: a new roadmap!
As you can see, we’ve had a busy third quarter with Noctua. We finally got our hands on the new D15, while the new 140 mm round and square frame fans were launched.
Very soon, the brand will be marketing a new 60 mm slim fan. This type of solution may be of interest in some very small cases… Especially as quality references in this format are rather rare.
The other new product this quarter is the famous Seasonic Prime TX-1600 Noctua Edition power supply. This is a very large 1600W unit that we saw at Computex. Its special feature is that it is cooled by an NF-A12x25. If you’ve been waiting for it, it will arrive in October, November and December.
Then, the first quarter of 2025 promises to be an interesting time for fans. The NF-A14x25 G2 should receive its black chromax.black touch, while a replacement for the NF-A12x25 is also planned, or so we assume from what we saw at Computex.
Finally, in 2025, the brand will offer a new-generation 120mm dual-tower CPU cooler. For the moment, the only model that meets these criteria in the brand’s catalogue is the NH-D12L, which we tested here… Perhaps a successor.
