Milo 12: the Silverstone alternative to Fractal Design’s Ridge!

0

Silverstone launches a new case, the Milo 12. It is a compact case, ITX format rather long. This format reminds us very strongly of the Ridge from Fractal Design.

Milo 12: the direct competitor to Fractal ‘s Ridge !

Silverstone Milo 12In the program, we find a compact PC case measuring 105 (W) x 378 (D) x 393 (D) mm. The weight is also light since it displays 4.89 kg on the scale.

Inside, we have room to install a motherboard in mini-ITX format. On the GPU side, we can opt for a card measuring 345 mm in length over three slots. On the other hand, you’ll have to make do with a 16 cm deep ATX power supply or an SFX/SFX-L block. Finally, for the CPU fans, you won’t have to be too greedy with a maximum height of 77 mm.

For the ventilation, we have only two slots for the fan. On the front, we find a slot in 80 mm x 15 mm thick. Otherwise, on the side, a slot in 140 mm is also present. You will have understood, the watercooling is excluded.

Otherwise, this case seems to be a good choice to mount a multimedia machine. Indeed, it has an external 9.5 mm bay for the installation of a slim optical drive. But it is only usable when an SFX block is used. And for storage, four 2.5″ slots are available.

For the moment, no price is known.
