Cooler Master announces a new all-in-one watercooling kit featuring an LCD screen. The company already offered this type of kit with its Ion and Atmos II series, which featured interchangeable screen covers. This time, we’re talking about a kit with a larger screen: 4″, which is quite a change from the 2.1″ models found on the series just mentioned.
MasterLiquid Core LCD 360: a bigger screen!
No revolution in the way the screen is used!
With this kit, the Taiwanese brand opts for a 4″ screen. Like Antec’s latest kit, the latter can be adjusted through 360° thanks to a pivot mount, which is rather practical for visibility. Otherwise, we’ll retain a 480×480 resolution, about which we don’t know much.
We do know, however, that it will be able to display information related to your system, such as CPU or GPU temperature. The same goes for frequencies, the percentage of utilization of these components, and so on. For management, you’ll need to use the brand’s software, as always. As for personalization, we’re talking about displaying .gif and .jpeg images, as well as video files. Nothing revolutionary.
A 360 mm kit!
Naturally, this model features a 360 mm radiator with aluminum construction. As for thickness, there’s nothing to complain about either, as it’s claimed to measure 27.2 mm.
As for the pump, we should find one of the brand’s in-house models, featuring a dual-chamber design and powered by a three-phase motor. Unfortunately, apart from the speed (2800 rpm max), there’s not much more to come. Oh yes, it will be mounted on AM4/5 and LGA-1851/1700/1200/115x sockets.
Finally, ventilation is provided by a trio of 120 mm fans with a maximum speed of 1750 rpm. At full speed, they generate an airflow of 71.9 CFM, while static pressure reaches 1.86 mmH2O.
