This sparked rumors of a presentation during the World Cup….But in reality, it’s on Netflix that GTA VI will get a special presentation on August 27, with a program titled “GTA VI: An Extended Look.” This is a first, but it’s also another sign of the resources Rockstar is bringing to the table for the launch scheduled for November 19, 2026.

For the first time ever, a video game release is being given a launch of this magnitude, transforming the August 27 presentation into a global event broadcast on one of the world’s most-visited platforms.
Netflix users can now set up a notification to be alerted as soon as the event goes live. This suggests that Rockstar isn’t just preparing yet another trailer, but rather a presentation designed to reveal much more about the game. We can therefore expect a broadcast that showcases missions or gameplay features in detail for several minutes—something Rockstar is known for. If you don’t have Netflix, this in-depth presentation won’t remain exclusive for very long. Six hours after its initial broadcast on the platform, it will be made available for free on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and on their official website.
