GALAX RTX 4090 HOF OC Lab gets Port Royal

A few days ago, we told you about the GALAX RTX 4090 HOF PCB that had just been revealed by the overclocker named Rauf. Today, we know a little more about this card and especially about its performance under LN2. It is notably Mad Tse, who works at GALAX, who revealed a lot of information on his Facebook page. First of all, it is an “OC Lab” version and therefore designed 100% for overclocking and with all the tools to remove the protections of NVIDIA. We also learn via this photo that a FB group exists for those lucky enough to have a copy of the card.

We should certainly have in the coming hours other world records that may fall. Indeed, Mad Tse to share two new records obtained with this GALAX RTX 4090 HOF OC Lab. The first one is under Port Royal with a score of 31096 points thanks to the boost frequency which reaches 3570 MHz during the benchmark. The other record is under GPUPI 3.3 where the frequency is 3705 MHz with a score of 49.049 seconds. We can say that these are incredible performances obtained by this RTX 4090 HOF OC Lab.

As you might expect, these scores were achieved under LN2. The more attentive will notice the bucket holder equipped with two KingPiN Inferno. We also used this resistor during our tests under LN2 with the i9-13900K to avoid condensation. The use of two Inferno on this GALAX RTX 4090 HOF OC Lab is perhaps to avoid that the memory chips are too cold and cause concern during benchmarks. Moreover, these were not very overclocked.

Let’s finish by paying tribute to the actor of these results who is none other than OGS, a Greek overclocker who currently dominates the Hwbot world ranking. Congratulations to him!
