GALAX RTX 4090 HOF unveiled

If there is one graphics card that our Discord community is looking forward to, it’s the arrival of the GALAX RTX 4090 HOF, the “Hall Of Fame” version. We have already reviewed the RTX 3090 HOF and the RTX 3090 Ti HOF. Why are we so impatient? Simply because since the disappearance of EVGA GPUs, only GALAX would still be able to offer unlock graphics cards dedicated to extreme overclocking.

Our colleagues from the Swedish site Nordic Hardware have just published photos of the PCB of the next GALAX RTX 4090 HOF. They obtained these photos through the intermediary of the overclocker Rauf very close to the GALAX brand. We can discover the white PCB specific to the HOF series and with two 12VHPWR connectors. The BIOS would have a power limit of 1000 watts to take full advantage of the potential of the card under liquid nitrogen.

The PCB would be equipped with a power supply stage composed of 28 + 4 phases. As a reminder, the RTX 3090 Ti HOF had 24 + 4 phases. It would seem that this is the only RTX 4090 with two 12VHPWR connectors and that GALAX has no intention of limiting the GPU or memory on its flagship model. Beware, however, that the BIOS allowing to remove the limits of the card is reserved for a select few. In short, we are already looking for this graphics card.
