Cryorig’s activity is clearly picking up. After teasing the CX6, a new double-tower heatsink, the brand is now unveiling its CX5 and CX4. These heatsinks are positioned in the entry- and mid-range sectors!
CX4: Cryorig’s new entry-level heatsink!
With the CX4, the brand is showcasing a heatsink positioned in the entry-level sector. As you can see, the recipe remains basic, with a cooler featuring four 6 mm copper heatpipes each mounted in direct touch. However, Cryorig has opted for a 120 mm fan equipped with aRGB lighting.
Here, the finish seems basic, a far cry from the brand’s original models. The first blade features a simple “CR” logo pressed into the aluminum. The heat pipes, for their part, feature a yellow color. A specific treatment to distinguish it from the competition?
In any case, this model is compact, with dimensions of 122 (W) x 73 (D) x 157 (H) mm. The cooler also benefits from an eccentric base to minimize the impact on memory.
The CX5: more heat pipes and a real copper base!
With the CX5, we find a cooler offering the same dimensions as the CX4, but with a more robust design. In fact, this reference has a fifth heat pipe, but above all a real nickel-plated copper base. Here, the finish remains just as basic, with a simple logo on the first fin. However, the heatips are now nickel-plated. Likewise, the same aRGB fan with unknown characteristics.
The base is still eccentric to maximize memory performance.
CX6: we already know it!
The CX6 is already known, since we’ve already typed an article about it. However, its dimensions are now known and it measures 122 (W) x 133 (D) x 164 (H) mm.
Compared to the other two models, the finish has improved, with black aluminum fins. The top features a hood with RGB lighting and a brushed aluminum finish.
Finally, the specification sheet features 120 x 26 mm fans operating from 800 to 2000 rpm. Noise levels remain to be seen, as the brand’s heatsinks are not renowned for their silence!
Here are the brand’s product data sheets!
