It was a rumor, a prototype, maybe a real version…It’s now a reality. After announcing an RTX 5080 ProArt, Asus has released the specifications and other details of the RTX 5080 Noctua, due to arrive soon. Interviewed at Computex 2025, the main argument for this card will not be speed, but a demonstration of Noctua’s know-how in terms of silent, efficient cooling. Like NVIDIA’s other RTX 5080s, it features 16 GB of GDDR7 memory and a boost frequency of 2.73 GHz in OC mode, slightly better than the 2.617 GHz of the standard version. Equipped with three 120 mm Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 fans, it boasts ultra-efficient cooling. As with the board presented at Computex, the color scheme oscillates between gray and brown, in harmony with the Noctua theme. The back of the board features a full-length backplate and a cut-out for the third fan.Asus RTX 5080 Noctua

Its quad-slot design includes an optimized vapor chamber and phase-change thermal pads, ensuring low temperatures, peaking at 61.7°C for a TGP of 360 W. What’s more, 0 dB technology shuts down the fans at low loads, ideal for gamers and designers seeking silence and performance. With four video ports (three DisplayPort 2.1, one HDMI 2.1) and GPU Tweak III software, it’s ideal for advanced multi-monitor configurations. At the moment, the card doesn’t seem to be based on yet another version of the RTX ASTRAL , which could (perhaps) ensure a more affordable price. That doesn’t stop it from being imposing, as its dimensions make it almost twice as massive as an RTX 5080 FE. It’s 8 cm longer and 1.4 cm wider than the reference model marketed by Nvidia.

For the moment, although the card is available on the Asus website, no official announcement has been made of its release date or retail price.
