A short time ago we talked to you about the B650M-HDV/M.2, a motherboard by ASRock. Its particularity? To be a model with an AM5 socket at a low price. At Newegg, the board was then displayed at $139 excluding promotions… While it makes its first appearance in our shop at ~230 €.

B650M-HDV/M.2 : an ASRock card not so affordable in France… Not yet!

ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2With this card, the goal of ASRock is to offer us a rather affordable AM5 model. For this, the brand puts forward a micro-ATX model equipped with a B650 chipset.

However, there is no PCIe 5.0 here, as we will find a 4.0 x16 standard connector. It will be completed by a second model in 4.0 x4 as well as a small PCIe x1 3.0. The storage part puts forward four SATA III as well as an M.2 also in PCIe 4.0 x4. Finally, for the memory, two DIMM in DDR5 for a capacity of 64 GB clocked at 6400 MT/s.

Finally, for the power supply, we have a total of 8+2+1 phases with Dr.MOS. As for the power supply, it is provided by a single 8-pin EPS12V connector.

In short, the news here is that the card lands on Amazon. The bad news is that the US price of $140 is absolutely not respected. The card is currently offered at ~227 €. That said, we imagine that the price will drop as it becomes available at other retailers.
