AMD Radeon RX 7000 “RDNA 3” unveiled today

AMD is preparing to unveil its new line of Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards based on the new RDNA 3 architecture with relative secrecy. However, the advances that this new generation will offer are important. If AMD claims that the new generation GPUs will offer more than 50% performance per watt compared to the existing RDNA 2 GPUs, it is the design that will attract our curiosity. As with the Ryzen, AMD will thus use the so-called Chiplets technology for part of these RX 7000 graphics cards. Many hope that this switchover will bring the same kind of reversal as when the Ryzen arrived.

RDNA3 Radeon RX 7000Our high-end RDNA 3 GPUs will offer significant increases in performance and performance per watt over our current products and will include new features that support high-resolution, high-frame rate games. We look forward to sharing more details later this week.

AMD Radeon RX 7000: a lot of promises on paper

Like Nvidia, AMD should present and launch its range from the top with first of all declinations based on the Navi 31 GPU coupled with GDDR6. In addition to the performance debate, AMD is expected to be on the ball when it comes to pricing. Everything seems to suggest that its new architecture could allow it to respond as much on price as on performance to the latest RTX 40 from Nvidia. Finally, the last subject: availability. We are already in November and this late announcement does not bode well for the actual arrival of the cards at retailers. Let’s hope for a good surprise on this subject.
