Acer is a manufacturer that is diversifying more and more in the PC world. Of course, the company has been offering laptops and pre-build PCs for a long time, but for a few years now the brand has been diversifying with a range of components dedicated to the PC. It started with a fan, then moved on to graphics cards. Now, via the EEC, we learn of the registration of several versions of the RX 9060 XT with 16 and 8 GB versions!

Acer registers 16GB and 8GB RX 9060 XT on EEC!

Acer RX 7900 GRE Predator BiFrostQuickly, if we refer to the registrations within the EEC, the brand registers several references. Of course, the Predator BiFrost and Acer Nitro series will be back, as is already the case with the RX 9070 series. What interests us here, however, are the references to the amount of VRAM on offer. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website lists versions with 16 and 8 GB of memory.

Clearly, these records seem to be in line with the information shared by ITHome following AMD’s 9070 conference. As a reminder, other rumours seemed to point to 12GB memory capacities as well.

Of course, anything filed with the EEC should be treated with caution. Remember that the site is mainly used to register trademarks with a group of countries. It remains to be seen what will actually be offered next.

In any case, with its RX 9060 series, the Reds seem to be following a similar pattern to NVIDIA and its RTX x060. The latest rumours point to an RTX 5060 Ti, also available with 16 and 8 GB memory.

As for the launch date, we can expect AMD to release its cards in April. Prices have yet to be announced, but they could be as low as $349 and as high as $449 for the XT.
