Large quantities for the RX 9000 at launch?

As we’ve seen, to ensure a successful launch of graphics cards, stocks must follow. And that’s exactly what’s causing NVIDIA to grumble. The quantities of cards offered since the launch have been too low, and the few available are quickly being scalped. However, this should not be the case for the Reds. New reports are surfacing indicating full warehouses!

RX 9000: stocks are expected to last!

Stocks RX 9000

Via Overclock3D, we learn that AMD has taken good care of its resellers. Resellers have indeed been supplied by the Reds and their partners. Unfortunately, for reasons of anonymity, the exact quantities are not known.

More precisely, the article states that the reds will have an “incredible” stock… At least compared to the RTX 50s of the greens. This corroborates an initial report by Hardware Unboxed that the reds will have more stock than the RTX 50s, all models combined, at launch. On the other hand, it has to be said that the RX 9000s have been arriving in stock since January, so there should normally be enough to go around.

Once again, if the planets align correctly, this will show that AMD is capable of successful launches. On NVIDIA’s side, we’re just wondering whether the cards have actually been launched. Sure, the tests have been published, but other than that, there’s nothing going on. At Top Achat, there are no cards in stock, prices are high, reliability isn’t necessarily up to scratch, and that’s not to mention the current problems with drivers.

As things stand, if you’re planning to buy an RTX 50, you’ll have to hang on and wait a long time. Incidentally, we’re curious to see how this situation will affect NVIDIA’s gaming division.
