Intel has published a new graphics driver in the form of 101.6077. This new version, like AMD’s latest preview driver, is aimed at recent games. These include God of War: Ragnarok and Frostpunk!
101.6077, what’s new :
Here, the new features will focus mainly on adding optimisations for the following games:
- Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
- Final Fantasy XVI
- Frostpunk 2
- God of War: Ragnarok
And that’s it for the new releases. Fortunately, the brand is rolling out a few fixes.
The patches :
The patches include two new additions:
- Intel Arc A-Series Graphics Products:
- No more corruptions on certain reflective surfaces in Last of Us Part 1 (DX12).
- Fixed corrupted lines on certain textures in Age of Empire IV (DX12)
Known issues:
Finally, here are the problems already identified by Intel:
- Intel Arc A-Series Graphics Products:
- Diablo IV (DX12) may crash in-game when ray tracing parameters are activated.
- Flickering corruptions can be seen on Doom Eternal (Vulkan) on the game menu and in-game.
- Blender may crash during certain benchmark scenes.
- Topaz Video AI may encounter errors when using certain models for video enhancement.
- Intel Core with Arc iGPU:
- Crashes may occur on Enshrouded (Vulkan) during gameplay.
- Diablo IV (DirectX 12) may also crash when ray tracing is enabled.
- Colour corruptions may occur on Horizon Forbiden West (DirectX 12).
- Fortnite (DirectX 12) may crash when Alt Tabbed.
- SPECworkstation3.1 may experience instabilities on some workloads.
- Intermittent errors may occur on PugetBench for Davinci Resolve studio V19 when presets are set to Extended.
