Intel and Starfield have a somewhat complicated history. At the launch of early access, the rookies didn’t have a ready-made driver. As a result, the experience was completely degraded… Suffice to say, the game was unplayable! The first driver didn’t arrive until September 4, two days before the end of early access. Today, a new version has been released, correcting certain bugs and improving stability. Make way for version 101.4676!

Intel has released a new driver for Starfield, 101.4676!

Starfield

Of course, the aim of this driver is to further improve the user experience on Starfield. To achieve this, Intel has corrected a number of issues, as follows:

  • Improved stability in various areas of the game.
  • Glass surfaces and objects will be rendered correctly.
  • Character eyebrows will no longer be missing.

Despite these minor improvements, there is still a long list of problems, particularly in the game itself:

  • Sporadic instabilities in certain areas of the game can be experienced.
  • Corruptions when using Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
  • Weakly detailed textures may appear on certain objects in the game.
  • Textures may flicker under certain in-game light sources.

Other problems identified include :

  • On Fortnite, flickering corruptions may appear in-game.
  • UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves may display corrupted textures on the character.
  • The Halo Infinite campaign can lead to crashes on certain configurations.
  • Crashes may also be encountered on Dead by Daylight.
  • Topaz Video AI may encounter errors when using certain templates for video enhancement.
  • Adobe After Effects may crash during rendering operations
  • CG ventilation may rev up frequently on some Arc cards.
