It’s with some amusement that we discover that foreign stores have just putthe 14th-generation Intel Raptor Lake Refresh processors online. According to the latest information, these CPUs are due to be made official at the Intel Innovation Conference to be held in San Jose (USA) from September 19 onwards, but will not go on sale until a month later. The product sheets published by the Ukrainian store Telemart repeat the technical details previously divulged by BenchLife, such as the operating clock and cache size of the Intel Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K and Core i5-14600K processors.

However, there is no indication of price. Some people will therefore be left wanting more, even if we do discover the variations and product codes for the “Box” versions of Intel’s future products.

We should find 3 CPUs in K and KF versions (without graphics).

  • Core i9-14900KF – BX8071514900KF
  • Core i7-14700KF – BX8071514700KF
  • Core i5-14600KF – BX8071514600KF
  • Core i9-14900K – BX8071514900K
  • Core i7-14700K – BX8071514700K
  • Core i5-14600K – BX8071514600K

The top of the range at the end of 2023 will be the Core i9-14900K. This processor will feature 24 cores and 32 threads (8Pcore 16Ecore configuration). The processor will feature 36 MB of Smart Cache and a base TDP of 125 W (253 W PL2). It will feature clock speeds of 3.2 GHz at base and up to 6.0 GHz with Thermal Velocity Boost. For the moment, this 6Ghz ceiling is the one that keeps cropping up, even if several rumors point to a 6.2 GHz chip. We’ll no doubt know by the end of September whether this frequency is real or intended for a “KS” version that will arrive at a later date. In any case, if this 14900K remains at 6Ghz, it will represent a 200 MHz frequency jump compared with the Core i9-13900K, bringing it up to the speed of the previous Core i9-13900KS.

As leaks currently stand, here’s a quick comparison of gen 14 CPUs VS gen 13s:

  • 13900KS 8P16E P6.0/E4.3 → 14900K 8P16E P6.0/E4.4
  • 13900K 8P16E P5.8/E4.3 → 14900K 8P16E P6.0/E4.4
  • 13700 K 8P8E P5.4/E4.2 → 14700 K 8P12E P5.6/E4.3
  • 13600K 6P8E P5.1/E3.9 → 14600K 6P8E P5.3/E4.0

Note that there are still doubts about the configuration of the 14600K cores.
