AMD announced an expansion of its Ryzen Pro processor lineup. This lineup includes the Ryzen 9 Pro 9965X3D, a high-end model with specifications similar to those of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. However, there are a few differences in terms of clock speeds and supported features.

The Ryzen 9 Pro 9965X3D is available for purchase online in Germany!

This processor therefore offers specifications similar to those of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Both CPUs feature a total of 16 cores and 32 threads. In terms of cache, both offer a total of 128 MB of L3 cache thanks to the integration of 3D V-Cache in both units, while the TDP is still listed at 170 W. However, there will be a slight difference in operating frequency: 200 MHz lower, bringing the frequency down to 5.5 GHz for the Pro model.

Let’s not forget to mention support forDDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MT/s natively, as well as support for 24 usable PCIe lanes.

It costs nearly €1,000, and there’s no boxed version:

This CPU is available for sale in Germany… For now. At ProShop, in particular, this CPU is priced at nearly 1,000 €, which is 72% higher than the price of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. It’s worth noting that the Pro model includes specific features such as remote management capabilities and enhanced security. For individual consumers, unless you have specific needs, there’s no real reason to purchase such a CPU. As you can see, it’s primarily a model intended for businesses.

Additionally, the product ID listed by ProShop—100-000001999—corresponds to the tray version listed on AMD’s website. There are no plans, at least for now, to release a boxed version.
