Yeston is a Chinese manufacturer whose catalogue includes cards from AMD and NVIDIA. However, to accompany the launch of the RX 9000 and RTX 5000, the brand is offering a new series of cards, which we discover in this shoot for the RX 9070 XT Sakura Atlantis!

RX 9070 XT Sakura Atlantis, shooting of a Chinese card!

RX 9070 XT Skura AtlantisYeston’s official account is sharing photos of its card, and as you can see, it’s very colourful. In fact, the brand is showcasing a card with a fairing in shades of green/blue, and even pink at the other end of the fairing. What’s more, the fairing is rather elaborate, featuring fluid, rounded shapes. To reinforce the cute look, the fan stickers feature symbols evoking the beach, with a scallop shell on one side and a starfish on the other.

On the back, the card also features a colourful backplate. Some may not like it, but it features an illustration of the brand’s mascot… After all, this is a manufacturer that’s here to cater to an Asian audience, don’t forget. Once again, the latter is perforated to aid cooling.

Speaking of cooling, there’s a rather substantial heatsink with three fans and a thickness greater than two slots. The heatsink features an imposing block of aluminium fins with copper heat pipes running through them, visible at the card’s corner. However, we don’t know whether the GPU and memory will come into contact with a copper base or a steam chamber.

Lisa Su confirms the launch of the RX 9000 in early March!

In any case, it’s worth remembering that the launch of the card has been delayed until March– yes, that’s a long way off. AMD seems to be taking its time to consider what strategy to adopt in the face of NVIDIA. In the meantime, this is putting quite a few people on the spot. We’re thinking of resellers who have built up (or started to build up) their stocks and will have to wait another two months before reselling them, as well as the brand’s partners. What’s more, Gigabyte has started to sulk (?) by removing all the technical data sheets for its cards from its website.
