The RTX 4060 is set to be NVIDIA’s most affordable RTX 40. Officially, it’s a card that should see the light of day at around €330 in France for the most basic versions. However, in Finland, via reseller ProShop, a whole range of cards was on show. And clearly, the most expensive models are far from affordable! We’re talking about an Asus RTX 4060 Strix OC for €499.90!

Of course, this is probably a placeholder, the famous price to put a price on. Remember that the 4060 invoice should be around €335, as we told you in this this article. At €490/499, the Asus card would be completely out of touch with the market, especially if we consider Gigabyte’s more aggressive pricing with its WindForce OC version in particular.

However, while we may have our doubts about the price, we’re pretty sure we’ll be seeing a very imposing Strix version. This model is said to occupy almost three slots in a single case, and measures a good thirty centimeters in length.

Asus is pulling out all the stops for this tiny card, which features an AD107 with a TDP of just 115W. You might as well get out a sledgehammer and swat a fly at this stage. In this segment, we expect to see compact models such as such as MSI and even ITX-format versions (17 cm long), not cinder blocks.

In any case, we’ve only got one more week to wait before this model hits our shelves. By then, we’ll be sure of the card’s pricing. Oh, and don’t forget that Finnish VAT is 24%, which brings it down to ~€480 elsewhere in Europe based on this price.
