Teamgroup Delta RGB 7200 to 8200 MT/s CL34!

A few days ago we told you about the receipt of a copy of the Teamgroup Delta RGB 7200 MT/s CL34 memory kit. This one is equipped with Hynix A-die memory chips which seem to be very promising in terms of overclocking. So we started the tests on our ROG Maximus Z690 APEX motherboard but we couldn’t tell you the results yet since we used the i9-13900K tested today which has a better BMI than our i9-12900K.

The end of the NDA having been acted at 15:00, here is what we managed to get with this product. Well, a lot of changes with these new Hynix A-die kits since the least we can say is that it performs very very well. It’s quite amazing since after a few hours of testing, we managed to run AIDA64 and Geekbench 3.4.4 at 8200 MT/s in 34-46-46-84 for 1.55 volt, and all this in air cooling! It seems that the Hynix A-die chips that equip this Teamgroup Delta RGB 7200 MT/s CL34 kit do not like the cold.

Needless to say, it’s really very enjoyable and it revives the interest in memory overclocking. We should see more and more DDR5 memory kits with XMP above 7000 MT/s in the coming weeks.
