Silverstone launches the Seta D1, a box with four ODD slots

Small novelty signed Silverstone which launches its Seta D1 case. It is a new model that can accommodate E-ATX motherboards while having four 5.25″ slots! Despite everything, it is quite modular and can accommodate a large number of hard drives!

With this new model, the company offers us a reference capable of hosting large motherboards. We are talking about an E-ATX model at the maximum. In terms of dimensions, this reference displays 232 (W) x 492.7 (D) x 493.9 (H) mm.

Internally, it will be distinguished by its numerous storage slots. If desired, up to six baskets for 3.5″ hard disks can be integrated, ideal for a storage server. On the other hand, if desired, up to four 5.25″ slots for optical or other drives can be mounted. All this is in addition to the two 3.5″ slots under the power supply cover. Likewise, two 2.5″ boards are present at the back of the motherboard tray.

Despite this, the ventilation remains consistent since up to three 120/140 mm fans can be mounted at the front. At the top, 3x 120 mm/2x 140 mm fans are available. And for the watercooling radiator the compatibility in 360/280 mm is ensured, both in the top, as in front.

Otherwise, all these HDD baskets have an impact on the GPU compatibility. The latter will vary from 394 mm to 275 mm. Nevertheless, on the power supply side, R.A.S with 250 mm depth against 182 mm for an aircooling cooler.

It remains to be seen what the price will be since it is not yet known.
