Samsung launches a new monitor in the company of the Odyssey Neo G7. This is a 43″ monitor with the TizenOS of the brand allowing it to function as a TV. In short, a new model designed for players with a high resolution and a high refresh rate!
Odyssey Neo G7: new 43″ version!
With this new model, the brand offers us a very large VA screen. Indeed, this new version has a diagonal of 43″ (110 cm). To fit such a size, the Korean brand opts for a UHD resolution, that is to say 3840×2160. From us, we find an excellent reactivity with a frequency of 144 Hz and a low latency of 1 ms.
In terms of characteristics, we know that this screen can be very bright with a brightness of 400 cd / m². Ditto for the contrast with values of 4250:1 in static, but can reach the 1M:1 in dynamic. Finally, it offers DisplayHDR600 and HDR10+ certifications.
In addition, it is a screen that can be used as a connected TV thanks to the integration of the Tizen operating system. It also offers the Flex Move Screen feature that allows you to adjust the screen size from 20″ to 43″. We imagine that the unused areas will remain black. Finally, we find the Game Bar, a menu to access the various settings of the screen without leaving his game.
