After many contradictory rumors, we now know that AMD will tell us more, officially, about its Ryzen 7000 this August 29 during a livestream. But some products are already circulating and we could see on the net a picture of a Ryzen 7700X , supposedly in its final version. If we know that the products are circulating (and especially in the press), it is still difficult to have a definitive vision of performance. Indeed, we know that AMD is still fine-tuning its BIOS and it is very likely that an update of the motherboards will arrive a few hours before the official launch. Ryzen 7 7700X The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X is interesting in that it seems to potentially take the place of the 5800X. This processor has 8 cores and 16 threads with a Base/Turbo frequency of 4.50 / 5.40 GHz . For the rest of the data, the CPU will have 40 MB of cache (32 MB L3 + 8 MB L2) and a TDP of 105W (142W PPT). Its price is still the subject of much speculation. For a while now, rumors have suggested a retail price of $299 . However, it was found listed at $480 on some merchant sites. But the configuration of the Ryzen 7700X could tell us a lot about its brother the 7800X. Will this reference have the same configuration (8/16) or will we have for the first time a Ryzen model with 10 Cores / 16 Threads? Source
