In America, where we’re seeing price cuts for AMD graphics cards. In fact, the RX 7900 Series is now available for $889, compared with $729 for the XT!
RX 7900 Series: more price cuts!
As you can see at Newegg, PowerColor’s Hellhound models are now available at lower prices. The XT is now $719.99, compared with $899.99 for the XTX. However, it’s hard to say whether this price cut comes from AMD or PowerColor directly.
Either way, it certainly puts NVIDIA in a difficult position, since the RTX 4070 Ti costs around $800, compared with $1090 for the RTX 4080. Clearly, with prices like these, AMD’s offering puts NVIDIA’s in difficulty, since the 7900 XT offers more VRAM and higher performance than the RTX 4070 Ti. On the XTX side, performance is equivalent to the 4080, but the price is drastically reduced. At present, only the RTX 4090 remains without competition, which is why its price remains particularly high!
Clearly, we’re not as lucky as America when it comes to prices. In France, a 7900 XTX costs over €1,000, although ASRock’s version has been temporarily reduced to €999.
