The RX 6750 GRE has now been launched in China, putting an end to speculation as to the board’s configuration. In fact, it’s simply a renamed RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT, nothing more, nothing less. So much mystery for nothing.

RX 6750 GRE: a confusing name!

In the end, it turns out that the card offers two different memory configurations, with a 10 GB model and a 12 GB model. However, these configurations remain identical to the RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT. Only the in-game frequencies are slightly higher.

In the case of the 10 Go version, the card features a Navi 22 GPU with a total of 2304 stream processors distributed across 36 compute units. In terms of frequency, the card operates at 2450 MHz, while the memory runs at 16 Gbps. Thanks to its 160-bit bus, memory bandwidth reaches 320 GB/s. In essence, these are the same characteristics as the original RX 6700.

As for the 12 GB model, we learn that it contains 40 compute units and 2560 stream processors. This GPU spins at 2581 MHz boost, while memory bandwidth peaks at 384 GB/s. This time, the configuration is based on that of the RX 6700 XT, with an identical TDP of 230W.

AMD can be criticized for using the same name for two different GPUs. Whether you opt for a 10GB or 12GB card, you’re still buying an RX 6750 GRE. Clearly, you might as well opt for the 12GB model, as you’ll have more under your feet!
