A closer look at the change note reveals that the driver is Game Ready for The Finals. In addition, there will be in-depth support for DLSS-compatible games such as Fortnite: Chapter 5.

Of course, the main new feature will be support for NVIDIA’s new spearhead for the Chinese market. While the patch section mentions the correction of dimmed colors when streaming on Discord.

As such, there are no major new features in the driver itself. The changelog is more or less the same as that of version 546.33 WHQL, plus card support.

As a reminder, this D version of the 4090 offers equivalent gaming performance to the non-D version. It has around 11% fewer Cuda cores and tensor cores, reducing its TGP to 425W. The memory configuration remains unchanged (24 GB in 384-bit GDDR6X), while overclocking is impossible. As for the price, it’s identical to the original model: 12,999 yuan.
