New keyboard from Roccat with the Magma Mini 60%. This is an ultra-compact keyboard since it adopts a 60% format. However, it is distinguished by its membrane switches and its water resistance.
Magma Mini 60%: a tiny membrane and water resistant keyboard!
With this new model, the brand announces a very small keyboard in 60%. As you can see, it lacks a lot of keys to improve its compactness. In fact, the numeric keypad disappears, as well as the navigation keys or the function key line.
For the dimensions, the brand announces that its keyboard measures 308 (W) x 132.2 (D) x 36.6 (H) mm. It is also rather light on the scale, membrane model obliges, it displays 460 g with the cable.
As we said, this is a membrane keyboard that is silent and responsive according to the manufacturer. Otherwise, we find an anti-ghosting and a 20 Key-rollover. The polling rate is 1000 Hz when the RGB lighting is done via 5 programmable zones. Unfortunately, the cable, rubberized, does not seem detachable… Too bad.
On the other hand, the price is very soft since this keyboard is $49.99 or €49.90. Membrane aficionados can now enjoy a compact model.
