For this month of March, AMD releases a first driver with the RADEON Software 23.3.1. A new version that brings support for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Halo Infinity Ray Tracing Update.
RADEON Software 23.3.1, new features and patches :
On the agenda, the AMD driver brings support for the game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty as well as the Ray Tracing Update for Halo Infinite.
In addition, the driver comes with an important note. This note states that the ” Factory Reset ” has been temporarily disabled. Recently, a bug concerning this option was reported that, in rare cases, it could corrupt the Windows installation. It has therefore been disabled while the driver development team finds a solution.
The driver also comes with a patch section with seven points, which are as follows:
- Fixed intermittent resizing to 50% of the performance overlay after a game session.
- Application crashes could be observed when opening Premium Gold Packs on FIFA 23.
- Fixed pilot timeouts that could be observed on Halo Infinite on some scenes with ray tracing enabled.
- Corruptions could be observed on Dying Light 2 around some light sources.
- Same thing on Returnal on some scenes with ray tracing active with the RX 6000 series.
- Driver timeout, system freeze or even BSOD could be observed on some displays with RADEON RX 7000.
