Samsung announces its little novelties that will appear at CES and among them: the screens. That’s where we learn about the Odyssey Neo G9, a very large monitor. For sure, it displays a diagonal of 57″ and a resolution equivalent to a UHD dual screen! Enough to take a good look at it!

You can imagine that with such a resolution, the display format is very stretched and for good reason, it is a 32:9 reference. Moreover, the diagonal leaves no room for doubt: 57″. Despite its high resolution of 7680 x 2160, the responsiveness is important with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. Ditto, it also offers a curved slab at 1000R!
Regarding the rest of the technical data sheet, it is difficult to say exactly what we are dealing with. We already know that it offers a backlight based on mini-LED and that it is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 compliant. This implies peak brightness of 1000 nits and a good contrast ratio. Similarly, the display of colors will be at least on 10 bits and we find a coverage of at least 90% of the DCI-P3 range. As for the exact values…
Finally, this screen benefits from a connectivity based on DisplayPort 2.1. We do not know the rest of the connectivity, but we imagine that a USB hub is also present.
