To accompany the official launch of its RTX 4070 (test available here), NVIDIA also published a driver. Indeed, in the wake, the brand proposed its 531.61 WHQL adding support for its new reference. In passing, the company took the opportunity to correct some problems!
GeForce 531.61 WHQL: a driver for the RTX 4070!
Clearly, this is not a big, big driver from the greens. No, the goal here is to accompany the launch of the RTX 4070 with driver support. This is the only new feature in this version. Otherwise, we turn directly to the patches here:
- Fixed stability issues on Assassin’s Creed Origins using the 531.18 driver [4008770].
- The Last of Us Part 1 will no longer crash randomly in the middle of a game session with RTX 30 series [4031676].
- No more black/plain screens when compiling shaders using the 531.18 driver [4012825].
