Half Life 2 turned 20 years old on 16 November this year! To mark the occasion, we have learned that a remake of the title is being prepared by the studio Orbifold. On the other hand, we have learned that NVIDIA has prepared an RTX 4080 Super Half Life 2 featuring the game.
RTX 4080 Super Half Life 2: a card featuring the game!
For the record, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the title (which has yet to be followed up), NVIDIA is preparing a card bearing the image of the game.
The card, which looks better than MSI’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 version, features an attractive illustration of the hero of the story: Gordon Freeman. Naturally, there’s a logo for the game, while the card features touches of orange. What’s more, the card has a very dirty, dusty look that suits the world of the game.
Speaking of the game, as we mentioned earlier, a remake is being planned by Orbifold Studio. Of course, the reason NVIDIA is mentioning it is because the title will incorporate the brand’s technologies, including ray tracing, DLSS 3 and Reflex support. Half Life 2 RTX is currently in development, but NVIDIA has released a preview of what the title will look like:
As for the card, it is’part of a giveaway, the terms of which can be found here.
