S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is a first-person shooter in the Survival Horror genre, according to its Wikipedia entry. However, the title is eagerly awaited and graphics card manufacturers, including MSI, are preparing a card featuring the title with an RTX 4070 Ti Super.

This card is based on the Gaming X Slim series. However, the livery is in the image of the game, with a military green fairing and yellow dragon fangs. What’s more, as the game takes place in an apocalyptic Chernobyl, there are a few scratches on the paintwork to give the card an abandoned look… Although this effect could have been more pronounced! As you can see, the reinforcement bar is marked with the game’s logo, also with scratches in the paintwork… The same goes for the backplate.

As for the card itself, here we find an AD103 GPU with 66 SM, i.e. 8448 cuda core, 264 TMU and 96 ROP. This model has 16 GB of GDDR6X memory on a 256-bit bus. Thanks to its frequency of 21 Gbps, the VRAM offers a bandwidth of 672.3 GB/s. As for the GPU, if MSI adopts the characteristics of its original Gaming X Slim, the boost will reach 2685 MHz via MSI Center compared with 2610 MHz for the reference card.

In short, while the card’s design isn’t the most convincing in our opinion, and the paintwork should have been more ravaged by time, you’ll still be entitled to a copy of the game when you buy it.
