NVIDIA app is a new software product from the chameleon that unifies the various software products offered by the company. Until now, you had the NVIDIA control panel and GeForce Experience. This new solution brings the two together in a single interface. While the latter was available in beta, the good news is that the software is now available in its definitive version.
NVIDIA App: end of beta!
As we’ve just said, this new software bridges the gap between the Control Panel and GeForce Experience. In simple terms, we have the functionalities of both programs in one. In detail, you’ll have access to the optimum settings for your games, as well as to the various NVIDIA features. You’ll be able to record your gaming sessions via NVIDIA Overlay, for example. The same applies to the application of filters, etc., all of which can be accessed from here.
Of course, you can also download driver updates via this new solution. What’s more, change notes can be accessed directly from the software.
In short, this new solution brings together a whole host of functions, much like AMD’s RADEON Software. What’s more, the utility is quick to respond. Compared with GeForce Experience, installation takes half the time, while the interface is 50% faster. At least, that’s what we’ve been told.
However, NVIDIA does not say what will become of GeForce Experience and the control panel. We imagine that the App will take over and be offered by default when new drivers are installed, leaving the other two programs to fade into oblivion.
