Noctua is breaking with tradition and is now offering all-in-one water-cooling kits developed in collaboration with Asetek. The Austrian brand has just launched its NL-LC1 Series kits, a range consisting of three radiator sizes. Here, the focus is on performance, simplicity, and silence. So say goodbye to screens that stick out in every direction,RGB lighting, or the insane noise levels we sometimes encounter.

NL-LC1 Series: Noctua launches its first AIOs!

Three sizes:

Noctua NL-LC1 420 mm

With this lineup, Noctua offers water-cooling kits featuring 240 mm, 360 mm, and 420 mm radiators! By offering these sizes, the brand provides kits that will fit in any type of case, with a massive 420 mm option to drive temperatures as low as possible.

As you can see,RGB lighting isn’t part of the package, nor is a display, for that matter. The only option offered by the company is mounting a fan on the pump cover to reduce temperatures of the components around the socket. In fact, according to the company’s findings, adding a screen risks generating more noise from the pump.

With its kits, the brand therefore relies on a sound-insulated pump cover, while the rest of the setup is fairly basic. In fact, for the pump and fans, we get standard connectors. No more proprietary connectors or closed software-based ecosystems. As far as we’re concerned, that’s exactly what we like.

Included fans from the brand:

The included cooling solution consists of a set of NF-A14x25 G2 and NF-A12x25 G2 fans, depending on the size of the radiator. In both cases, these are high-end fans with the following specifications:

  • NF-A14x25 G2:
    • Speed: up to 1500 RPM
    • Airflow: up to 91.58 CFM
    • Static pressure: up to 2.56 mmH₂O
  • NF-A12x25 G2:
    • Speed: up to 1800 RPM
    • Airflow: up to 63.15 CFM
    • Static pressure: up to 3.14 mmH₂O

As for the pump, it can operate at several speed profiles, adjustable via a selector switch located between the hoses:

  • Quiet mode: 800 to 2100 RPM
  • Balanced mode: 800 to 2600 rpm
  • Manual mode: 800 to 3600 RPM

High-end prices!

As for prices, be warned: these are high-end. In fact, expect to pay €220 for the 240 mm version, €249.90 for the 360 mm version, and €279.90 for the 420 mm version. Of course, with the 420 mm model, you’ll need to consider the radiator’s size, as it won’t fit everywhere.
