As for Asetek, the Danish brand took advantage of this year’s Computex to announce a new platform for its AIO watercooling kits. The company presented its Emma V3 Gen10. This is a new generation designed to improve thermal performance while reducing noise pollution. It also features thicker radiators, with a block thickness of 3 mm!

Changes on the pump side :
To reduce noise pollution, the first thing to mention is the use of a new 7-blade turbine. This reduces the frequency flapping effects that can be heard. In addition, the space between the turbine and the stator has been increased, while the injection point has been repositioned at the rear of the turbine. Some parts, such as the stator, have been simplified to reduce vibrations. In terms of noise alone, the company claims a 45% reduction in perceived noise.
On the thermal front, we learn that the cold plate benefits from a denser structure of micro-fins. The alignment of the cold block has been redesigned to better match modern processors, while the curvature of the cold plate has been redesigned to offer better contact with CPUs.
Increased heat exchange surface!
But with this, Asetek now opts for a thicker heatsink, going from 27 mm to 30 mm. This results in a slight increase in heat exchange surface, and therefore in improved cooling performance. For even greater thermal gains, a cross-flow model is available as an option, providing a further improvement of 0.3 to 0.5°C.
This Asetek Gen10 base should gradually be used by more and more future watercooling kits. In any case, the brand seems to have focused on reducing noise while improving the thermal side with a pump offering a 1.5°C reduction in thermal resistance.
